Australian Sports Nutrition (ASN) is a sports nutrition retailer offering a wide range of supplements, protein powders, pre-workouts and other sports nutrition products.
Today, the business has 37 stores using Retail Express by Maropost, alongside a Shopify ecommerce website and warehouse operations. ASN has used Retail Express since 2022 to support its retail network, connect its stores with ecommerce and make day-to-day point-of-sale operations simple for its team.

With Retail Express used across 37 stores, ASN needs a point-of-sale system that team members can quickly understand and use. New staff need to be able to get behind the counter and handle day-to-day transactions without the technology adding unnecessary complexity.
Solution
For Walker, one of Retail Express's biggest advantages is the simplicity of the point-of-sale experience.
The system is straightforward enough that she can talk a team member through how to use the POS over the phone, giving them the confidence to operate it until they receive formal training.
ASN also found the original move to Retail Express straightforward, with the Retail Express team supporting the business through its transition in 2022.

With Retail Express, Walker says adding another outlet is remarkably straightforward. She contacts Retail Express to request the new outlet and, once it is added, ASN's existing stock is there ready to go.
The team then adds the store's inventory and can start selling.
“Setting up a new store for us is a three-minute job. I ring Retail Express, I say I need another outlet, pay for it, and bang — all my stock's there, ready to go. I just have to add in the inventory and start selling.”
