TradeWins Publishing sells info products and fills webinars through email and direct outreach. Product drops, webinar deadlines, and promotional windows pile on every week, and those windows do not wait.
They were already on Maropost Marketing Cloud for email, and email is still their core channel for reach and long-form story. As inbox reach tightened and attention dropped, time-sensitive offers stopped converting at the same rate. When an offer needed to land faster, they turned on SMS in that same account.
"The largest change is that we look more to SMS to build sales and customer relations than email. With the current issues in the email environment, SMS has proven helpful in staying in contact with our customers and informing them of our offers."

Challenge
Email on Maropost remained TradeWins' core channel, but conversion on time-sensitive promotions was slipping as inbox performance tightened. When a promotional window was closing, the team wanted a faster way to reach customers without adding a second vendor or rebuilding its opt-in list.
Solution
TradeWins turned on SMS marketing in the Marketing Cloud account it already used for email. Texts went out from the same environment as its email programs, using the same lists, login, and reporting. When a launch needed both channels, the team didn't have to set up a new workflow.

Challenge
TradeWins needed proof that SMS could return real revenue on promotions email was already carrying. Text costs more than email, so the sends were not going to the whole list.
Solution
The first test was two promotional texts to a segmented, opted-in list during a product launch window. One message per send, with a direct offer link. TradeWins pointed those sends at the subscribers most likely to act, the same discipline they use on their highest-value email segments. Email warmed the offer. Text was timed to back the email on the same promotions.
Result
TradeWins is using text more on launches where speed matters. Today they reach for SMS before email when an offer needs to land fast. Email on Maropost still owns volume and the long-form story. They are growing SMS with the same segmentation rules, not another platform: controlled spend, tighter audiences, and text that supports email instead of replacing it.
