Compliance Documents
As part of our commitment to transparency and compliance, the following documents are publicly available for review:
Training
We are committed to training all staff and volunteers in accessible customer service, other Ontario’s accessibility standards and aspects of the Ontario Human Rights Code that relate to persons with disabilities.
As a remote-first company, our training focuses on digital accessibility, inclusive virtual communication, and the use of assistive software. Maropost Inc maintains records of all training provided, including the dates and the number of individuals trained.
Training includes:
- Purpose of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005.
- How to interact and communicate with people with various types of disabilities in a virtual environment.
- How to use accessible digital communication tools and software.
- What to do if a person with a disability is having difficulty in accessing our digital goods, services or facilities.
Service Animals & Support Persons
We welcome people with disabilities and their service animals. While we operate remotely, we ensure that service animals and support persons are accommodated during all virtual meetings, demos, and interactions.
A person with a disability who is accompanied by a support person will be allowed to have that person participate in any virtual engagement with our team. We will consult with the person with a disability to understand their specific needs for digital accommodation.
Design of Public Spaces
Although Maropost Inc operates as a remote organization without public-facing physical storefronts, we remain committed to meeting the Accessibility Standards for the Design of Public Spaces should we construct or make major modifications to any future physical public spaces, in accordance with Ontario’s accessibility laws.
